I spent several hours with my new class yesterday. My sub, Kathy, left for awhile to let me get to know them. That was nice of her. Although I could tell that I'm going to have a few problems with about four, I know I'm going to enjoy the class when I get back.
It was great to see all my friends.
Kathy asked me to stay for lunch, but I realized I just couldn't carry a tray and use my cane too, so i just went on to
the teacher's lounge without food. I thought I'd just say "hi" and leave.
When Lynn, a second grade teacher buddy, saw that I didn't have a tray, she immediately went to get me one. She wouldn't take "no" for an answer. That was really sweet of her. I hope to get a good report from Dr. Cobb, my bone doctor on October 11, so I can return October 12.
Oh yeah! I got my first sale of my Instant Book Proposal yesterday! I'm so excited. I checked my Paypal button, and it seemed
fine. hmmmm....I don't know what the problem is! But I'm fixing it today. I want more testimonials for my site at http://smartauthor.com/testimonials.html - not complaints. I did get the program to her and she said that she would be sending a testimonial soon. :)
