Beyond the Silent Prairie was submitted to Publish America on Friday, Sept. 2, 2005.  I should know in a few days if it is accepted.  Readers will find a love story of two people who have been married for 62 years.  The book takes you with the author, to the army, to marriage and children, several differnt careers, a lot of moves, and reitrement.  Now in her elderly years, the author still writes and designs patterns for crochet. Her husband Orman plays golf when weather permits even though he is 88 years old.

Ormand and I raised three children who have given us six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  They are all in this book along with many of our our other realtive and friends we have met along the way
