A summary of all my books. Hi all you wonderful authors. Isn't it fun to write? And do any of you autors read? I'm tooting my own horn because frankly, I need some sales! Just to show that someone reads something I write sometimes. I am only 89 year old but who knows how much time any of us have left. If you want to help an old lady feed her ego and make her feel like her life is still worh something, but the following books and then write a review for me.
The first book I wrote in 2003. Its' a memoir of my childhood called Prairie Rattlers, Long Johns and Chokecherry Wine. I'ts old but it's history about times in the 1920s and 30s from birth in a sod house on a prairie homestead, through grade school in a one room country school, herding the cows and milking them too many times , high school in a small school where there were only eleven in the graduating class, through one year of college and then teaching in a country school.
Three years later, I wrote the sequel which is titled Beyond the Silent Prairei, A lvoe Stroy, follow me through falling in love, joiining the WACm narruage, and a wonderful life with three kids. It lasted for 66 years too and he lived to read my second book before he went to a better place.
My third book, just our in December 2009 is Inspirationd and Reflections, a collection of poems and articles that cover my whole life, 89 yers of life and love.
