Beyond the Silent Prairie: A Love Story was released on July 26, 2006 Frederick, Md. - Publish America is proud to present Beyond the Silent Prairie, A Love Story by Roseburg, Oregon's Emma L. Willey. This story begins with three teenage sisters discussing what they will do when they leave the prairie aftter high school. Emma goes to college, where she meets her life partner, Orman and they fall in love. World War II takes them both to the army for three years serving their country. They take time on a furlough to speak their wedding vows. After the war they start life together in South Dakota. They parent three childre, pursue several careers and experience many moves. On retirement, Orman and Emma hook up to their trailer to tour the United States, spenind winters in the Southwest and summers in the Northwest. Their variety-filled life keeps them happy together for over 62 years. They weather the years through communication and love for each other, their three children, six grandchildren and three great granchildren.
