The new year is well on its way and before 2006 is out, my new book Beyond the Silent Prairie, A Love Story will be on the book shelves.  My books aren't destined to be best sellers as I had hoped but my wish is that a few good people will read and enjoy them both.  I had my third book started which I called South Dakota Prairie but due to healthe reasons, I turned it over to my author daughter, Marlene Johnson.  I am sure she will make it very good book because it's about her father and because she is an excellent writer.  I hope you will all watch for that one in the futrue, although she might give it a new name.  I've told her to do anything she wants with it.  And I'll be back in here to talk about my Beyond the Silent Prairie as soon as it appears in my hands. I should get the page proofs soon.

I have neglected my web page and haven't added a story or poem for a long time.  When I start my poetry class with the Hadley School for the Blind, I will be sure to share some of my poems.
