A brunette jumps . . .

A brunette jumps up and down at the back of the room, waving her arms over her head. "I'm here. Can't you see me? Can't you hear me?"

The brunette is most definitely female. Is she a ghost, unseen and unheard? Is she in a room full of people that are ignoring her--a story that takes place in a futuristic world perhaps? Or maybe, it's a young woman in a church talking to someone she can neither hear nor see? I guess the above can be anything one wants it to be. I'm just thinking out loud here. :)
