Warlord, the Rottweiler 10/1/2004 8:41:12 AM
Fourteen years ago when we first moved into the home we live in now, there was a Rottweiler named Warlord that lived down the street. He was often left in the back on a chain with a large dog house. He'd also gotten smart enough to free himself and wonder about. He was a friendly dog, one that my small Westie and Corgi were buddies with, so much so that he'd consistantly leave his mark near my home. He was a large dog, his head coming to just below my neck.
Yep, he was a gorgeous, big, friendly dog. But one day he placed my arm in his mouth and I became afraid. He did nothing to me, and shortly after that I never saw him again. His owners had moved. And this beautiful creature, Warlord, has been on my mind for days. He still is. I wonder why? Does this mean something? Is he about, unseen, unheard, yet felt?
