Isn't it a great Spring?
4/18/2006 6:43:19 AM

Spring cleaning this year was different. I feel good though. The cobwebs are cleared away. I'm ready to get my fingers dirty and work in the yard. Help the flowers bloom and grow. Deweed my veggie garden and just plain enjoy the day. We've gone fishing the last couple of week-ends and I've spoiled my veggie garden by planting the fish heads along the edges.

Well, honestly, I have to admit there are only a couple spots that I've planted the fish heads. I'm not a very good fisherman. I never have been. But, I enjoy it.

My garden obviously does, too. About mid-week after I buried the first couple of heads. The garden jumped to life. Then we got that wonderful rain we have been needing and tadaaaaaa, I have a thriving garden.

This weekend we also picked up a baby duck and baby goose. They are very people oriented and have distinct personalities already.

I can tell already. It's going to be a very interesting spring and summer.
