Well the interview went really good, I think. It's so hard to tell. I answered the questions with honesty. I will know if I got the job one way or another, by Friday. There was two positions open, so the hope is maybe I will get one or the other. Cross your fingers for me.
Tyler is getting excited. I can't wait to see him. I can't wait to begin this adventure with him. He's already 4 months into it, I have some catching up to do.
I went through a box of old notes from friends, way back in the day. What a time warp that was. The notes went back as far as 1992. Oh how young we were. We thought we knew it all. Hated that our parents didn't "get us". The late nights and drinking. The guys and that feeling of your first love. All these things seem from so long ago.
How I have changed. I love the way things turned out so far though. I predicted this though. I wrote a journal entry when I was 18. In that entry....I wrote of my early adult hood, how I thought it would go. I wrote about my future husband that I hadn't met yet (I wouldn't meet Tyler for 6 months after writting this), all these things have happened.
Now I need to write another one out. This time for the next ten years. I don't see Tyler and I starting a family until I am around 30. That's all I see so far.
In my 28th year, I vow to learn to relax. Not be such a worry wort. I stress myself out by worring about things that don't need to be worried about. Stupid little shit. I can't even explain it. It has become an issue with me, and as issues go, it needs to be adressed. And so it will be.
Time is marching on......soon I will be in Alberta. I can't stop thinking about it. I have had dreams. I have talked to everyone I know about this crazy move. Everyone thinks I should do it. I even have a great feeling about it. Like I said before, even if I don't get the job....that just means that there is another one, a better one waiting for me. However, I have the feeling that this is my calling, something that I have waited a long time to do, it would be great, to finally after trying and trying, be able to do what I want to do, and excel at it. I can't wait.
As for my writting. I have had a writers block the last while now. I wrote so many new writes when I joined here, that I tired out my mind and my hand. Don't worry, I will be documenting my travels to Alberta, as often as I can. My computer isn't coming with me on this trip, we'll come back for that, and my cats. I have to let go of two....that makes me sad. Anyone looking for a nice cat? His name is Tommy. He is 5 years old. He needs a home. I can't take 4 cats with me when I go, so I have decided to let go of Tommy and my other one, who does have another home. Tommy though is on his own so far. I will figure it out before we go, I'll find him a good home he can live out the rest of his life. He'd make a great farm cat.
Anyways, thats about it for now. I'll keep you posted about the job.
