I AM working…
I’m doing RESEARCH

Obviously, I’m not the only writer who’s faced people who treat them like they are lazy. I remember watching the movie Kate and Leopold. Kate’s brother was an actor and he makes a comment that went something like, “Just because I don’t have a paying job right now doesn’t mean that I’m not perfecting my craft.” I cheered! There’s so much more to the arts than non-artistic people realize.
