The Dog chewed all my SHOES!
3/11/2007 4:20:25 AM

I have this puppy. His name started out Baron. He’s supposed to be a purebred Pomeranian, but he’s a little large and has a lot of wavy fur. We got him around Halloween and I started calling him Baron Frankenstein and it stuck. I also call him Baby Baron. So when he does bad things, he’s called Baby Baron Frankenstein, then he knows he’s in trouble.

About my shoes...

I wear flip-flops when I leave the house, otherwise I’m barefoot.

Baron got into this habit of gnawing on my flip-flops until the strap broke. I threw away two pair before he taught me to pick them up. But alas, I’m forgetful and the last pair I left on the floor.

I saw they were a bit ragged one day and wore them to the store. Halfway in the door, the strap broke. And anyone wearing flip-flops will know you can’t walk that way. Yet I did. The thing kept slinging to the side at first until I took smaller steps and used my other foot to knock it back in place under my foot.

Naturally, I looked like an idiot, dragging and shuffling along through the grocery store with my toes clenched on the little piece of cloth between my toes. However, I managed slowly to make it through the place, using the shopping cart as my concealment.

When I got home, I left another ruined pair of flip-flops in the garage and I’m all out of flip-flops. I only have regular shoes now and I’m hoping Baby Baron Frankenstein doesn’t develop a thing for them.

He has a thing for my socks and panties too.

So, do you have a little devil living in your home?
