Wireless on the Road 3/18/2007 3:57:24 PM
This is my first trip today with my wireless internet card in my laptop. I remember a time when it was amazing to use a phone not connected by a cord. Today, I can surf the www while riding in the front seat of a car.
I’m on my way to Biloxi, MS to gamble at a casino. I know, I was at one last week, but this is different. This time I’m going to win some money.
Actually, I like going to the casino to write. There’s nothing like sitting alone in a hotel room to get work done. No people, no pets, no phones and a less likely chance of me going online to check my mail.
We stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had fried catfish, scrambled eggs, toast, & fried apples. I gave away my grits since I don’t care for them.
The worst part of the 3 day trip is knowing my one little dog is at home, upset and pouting because I left him behind. It doesn’t matter he’s with 5 other dogs, he just wants me. ChiChi is my spoiled baby. When I return, I’ll bring him a new toy.
PS: This posted late….wireless didn’t exactly like me today.
