There is an equation that all good mediums strive to work in their development efforts: 90% self/10% spirit. There is a striving to turn this around and trust spirit so much more. One of the things I have witnessed recently is those that work in spirit claiming spirit input on the most mundane of circumstances. We teach that spirit is not that interested in our material lives. So how come they claim this input from spirit on the most mundane of circumstances?
When we go into meditation attunement and our mind is full of circumstances of life, we tend to give off our first thoughts as those of spirit, when in reality, they are our own justifications of life and its circumstances.
Consider...the mind is the instrument of spirit and we must always be on guard to keep our thoughts either of the material concern (which can be good solid advice from our own mind) or of spirit (when spirit has a thought on the issue). Our material lives are ours to live. We often tell our clients that we do not live their lives and yet...when the chips are down, we claim spirit input for ourselves and friends.
