Your blog is your resume for a job and for life. Someone posted a very interesting message...what we blog can be found by anyone on the internet and it can and does become our resume. The reference was in a job hunt. What about life?
Our life has its ups and downs. We feel positive in some situations and not so positive in others. This can be where our spiritual lessons kick in. Or it can be focused by our most overdeveloped emotion...justification!
When something happens to upset our whole apple cart of belief about ourselves we can examine our part to play and our response. Or we can just sit and wallow in self pity and blame of others. Which is the more productive?
We know for sure that the only person we can change is self. So that is the most effective starting point in all things. This does not mean to beat yourself up, but it also has the other side, we do not need to beat anyone else up either.
The less we blame, the easier it is to look within. We can see that in all situations there is a part to play all. You have your script and the other party has theirs to play out.
Spirituality teaches many lessons. One of the most interesting to examine is the duality of life. The fact that all is illusion in life and only our emotions and ego make it a reality. When we let go of outcomes and others' opinions, we can then work more effectively on self growth.
If our blog is going to become our resume for life then we need to blog from our growth potential and leave the duality to melt away. Ego can motivate to many things and being able to motivate to change and progress is a step in the right direction
