Self Culture There is only one person each of us can change or otherwise affect...ourselves! When this message is fully realized in a broader way, there will be more personal responsibility by all for their actions, thoughts, words, deeds. The consequence being...everyone will KNOW themselves!
Socrates said: Know Thyself! That was the teaching that was put in writing above the entrance to the school of philosophy he taught. It is so important to understand ourselves, so that we can then understand others.
Light workers suggest we find the light in all others. If we have not found that light in ourselves, how can we know it exists in others?
As a work in progress, we are like a diamond in the rough. With each facet that we take the time to polish and allow the light to shine through, we have grown in measure of our spiritual understanding.
Imagine the glow the world could have when we all shine with understanding and peace from within the core! To raise our consciousness we need to find this light, one person at a time, and then share its glow with others.
We have the tools of our own consciousness (visualization, meditation, affirmation) to use in this process of growth. It requires an effort to allow the growth to self. It requires an intent to our purpose. The more we practice with these tools of our own consciousness, the more we have grown in spirituality.
