Last night I fell asleep on the couch, while the TV murmured in the background. I woke up at around 2:30 or so, and flipped channels until I found something suitable to watch until I got sleepy again ("CSI: Miami" on A&E? Perfect!).
But at 3am, A&E's new show "Paranormal State" came on and I woke up quickly, because I had missed it on Monday night. So I'm sitting there, watching the show in a dark, quiet house, and all of a sudden I got so damned creeped out that I had to turn it over.
I write horror stories! TV shows are not supposed to creep me out like that!
Needless to say...I'm going to keep watching the show, because anything that can make me jumpy and think I'm seeing things out of the corner of my eye is definitely worth taking a second look at.
