Again, With The Mood?
7/23/2004 4:01:35 PM

So dreary humid and thick out. Kinda depressing.
and I shouldn’t be

Wonderful trip to Cancun, could have stayed a few
more days. I won’t be greedy cause I know tomorrow,
I’m off to Aruba. But for some reason, I feel a bit down.

It’s probably the crappy weather, and it’s supposed to
be like this for days. I try to theorize what my moods
mean. Oh, I’m not a psychic, I just want to understand,
so maybe I can help myself out of unpleasant moods.

OK, back to the crappy day. It’s thick, humid and
various shades of gray and yellow. Sitting here saying
“Hmmm...”
Maybe I’m worried about the weather and flying…no
Maybe I’m worried over the things I have to do…no
Maybe I’m worried about the clothes…no
I just washed what I already had in the suitcase and
added other things…that’s not it
It’s the weather, and the fact that I’m leaving everyone
in this miserable mess. I don’t like to know that others
are feeling like I do right now. I don’t want them to feel
like that. It’s almost like the feelings I get when I feel
so so guilty about all my blessings. All those poor
people out there with no homes, children with no coats
no toys for Christmas, no where to go on thanksgiving
and there I sit, trying desperately to un-do my pants
while I’m stuffing my face to make room for more.
I know I should feel lucky and blessed, but what about
them? I’m getting off the subject. the subject that I
don’t remember what it was. Good grief, those are a lot
of words for someone who didn’t know what she was
talking about.

Yes…leaving those behind in this wet bakery weather
when some people have never been no further than 3 or
4 blocks from where they live. Above the clouds, heading
for sunshine, whooping it up, sitting on a beach spaced out
on pina coladas, kahlua and cream and swearing up and
down the speed-boats off in the distance are dolphins.

I don’t want anyone wet and dreary 
I’d feel much better if the sun was gonna shine, and people
could have fun with their families.

Yeah…that’s it…the weather!
