Rules are OK. Without them, there’d be chaos and what not.
I am enjoying the Olympics on TV. I love the fast-paced games.
What I can’t stand is the basketball. I can’t stand those sneakers screeching on the court.
I don’t like the timeouts, the delays, and the whistle blowing. Just play the damn game.
I like volleyball but screw the rules… Everyone gets three turns. Draw circles on the floor (To be fair) and if the ball comes your way, hit it! Never mind the three bounces before it goes over the net and that dumb rotation, (I never got to serve in gym because of that rotation rule… the bell would always ring when it was my turn) Name the spots and the best players get certain spots, like in baseball there’s a first baseman, outfielder and such. If a person hits over the net good, put them in the center, or if a player is good at hitting it over right under the net, then put them there. If the opposing team misses or it goes out of bounds, you get the point, and you get to serve again (2 more times) until your team misses. This way the game would move right along, and would hold my interest...
Personally, I think it’s when a team is losing the whistle blows so much. OK, I know strategies…but wasn’t that discussed before the game? Plan A, plan B, plan C. You already know your position and what to do; you already know how to play…so PLAY
Yay for swimming (of course) synchronized and diving, gymnastics, track, skiing, anything that MOVES. Golf? Uh huh, yeah sure
