I have decided to develop a short story which I wrote many years ago into a full length novel. I had posted this story then called IN SEARCH OF DREAMS on Wattpad soon after I joined.
It occurred to be that it was suitable for development.
I am now in the process of doing that. It is a Western Historical; a big departure from my usual genre. The novel is entitled THE SILVERADO - ROMANCE OF THE OLD WEST.
I must say I am quite excited about the project. Again, as with my Regency Romance, I am writing more or less into the blue, with no fixed plot plan. A dangerous way to go, but it seems to be working, for the moment at least.
With the Regency Romance I wrote a chapter and then posted it. That was hectic. I do not think I can do that again. I was spurred on by readers comments and requests for more. Heady stuff! And a little bit too feverish for me. Now I will take the conventional route. This time I will endeavor to complete the novel first and then post. This will obviously take time.
Having said that I have posted a taster - the first two chapters, to see what the reaction is. Maybe this is a mistake. Nevertheless, I will persevere and try to finished the novel as quickly as I can - but no pressure, please!
