From the out of touch left field….
"It's not about soul-searching. It may be about how we can educate the American people more clearly on the difference between Democrats and Republicans." - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of the wonderful Golden State… Bay Area of course.
We are educated Nancy and we do see the difference, just look at the election results!
Another Bay Area story involves San Francisco State University. At SFSU, the College Republicans set up a voter drive table. With campus police watching, members of the SFSU General Union of Palestinian Students assaulted the College Republicans, by destroying items on their table, throwing things at the CR’s, and through verbal assault. Of course, not a finger was lifted to stop the assaults. After I read about this, I called the University Police and was assured that the incident is under investigation. They may have a problem finding credible witnesses.
During the onslaught, one female Palestinian student screamed, "I have some pride. I would strap a bomb on myself and blow myself up as a suicide bomber rather than call myself an American."
