Since some here see the need to paint conservatives with a wicked brush, I thought I'd play the game. Of course, we have wonderful liberals here at AD who grace us with the truth, so there is no need to worry.
The wonderful middle of the road, non-partisan, Newsweek columnist, Eleanor Clift all but called for a mass exodus out of the United States in her recent protest of the November elections. She also mentioned the possibility of states seceding from the Union… Yes! That’s the answer. We need certain states to declare their independence and attempt to abolish the Union. The idea of a modern civil war excites my wicked right wing heart. Think of it. The loving, kind, misunderstood peaceniks could declare their sovereignty and the dastardly, wicked right wingers could flood their states, driving environmentally dangerous SUV’s and toting, close your eyes, assault weapons, killing the poor unarmed promoters of peace. Once the smoke cleared, a church could be built on every corner to re-educate and indoctrinate those who survive. Oh, the joy!
