For the one who said he would send no more messages on the subject [and then - after I wished him well - I found he had sent ANOTHER explaining to me that I should not equate bodies with caskets, I might wonder have you started to celebrate St. Patty's Day a wee bit early?] Sigh so much blarney on such a beautiful day for those of us [who are still living anyway.] No, sir - as sure'n you won't catch a Bush in the armed forces anywhere near Baghdad, an American flag covering a casket won't eliminate a picture of "mangled body parts" as you put it. [I did not refer to them as such, mind ye, but that and for a full corpse is what they make them for the last I heard - unless of course they've started outsourcing them, too.] And as for the individual who said with these "fuzzy numbers" we have been receiving from the media I can be assured we will reach that 1,000 figure - now does this sound like the Johnson administration's Viet Nam War blarney revisited or what? - sad to say my betting foe tells me he will take them as they are for now - since it is rather difficult to add to a corpse count, mind ye - but, as I, would still like to know what the Vegas odds are of us having 1,000 dead US servicepeople by the year 2005. [A simple query is all it is.
