Another terrible day 10/12/2004 3:42:56 PM
I've fought since July to buy an old farm house. I went through many battles and was on the phone daily for two months.
Finally closed on it and still, the battles wish to continue. Can't believe how it always seems to be the world against one. Wonder if I was born with some kind of antenna or something that I am just a receiver of incredibly bad luck.
I mean, it's not the typical "woe is me" ...some of the strangest things happen to me and they happen all at once.
A friend of mine once told me that I keep everyone statistically safe :o)
But - it's another dreary Tuesday and I'm trying my hardest to sell my current home...I just found out today that after having it "listed" for two months and a week, the realator hadn't even put together a flyer for the house yet, nor was it ever posted anywhere for sale!!! Yikes. Now I have two mortgage payments because I missed a couple of good months to show this house.
But on a lighter note - my book will be out in a couple of weeks! Yeah! In addition, I may start writing for a local newspaper as well. Things are going pretty good these days despite the many battles to get what I want.
In addition, my yard is full of these GIANT mosquitoes. It has the circumfrence of a coke can.
Still bored out of my mind and tired.
Perhaps, I should channel that into poetry - I've been slacking lately :o)
