What next?
My first book: First Person: Combat PTSD was a labor of love and heartache; writing it put me in the hospital. But now what do I write next? I am completing my PhD in Psychology, but both my Bachelors' and Masters' Degrees are in Criminal Justice. I served as a cop for 22 years. Taught at a community college for 13; but I would like to stay in non-fiction. I am thinking of continuing on in non-fiction and Combat PTSD. When I make one of my doctor's appointments at the VA in Houston, it is not difficult to see that we have a new generation of screwed up combat vets coming home. The VA hospital if full of them already. I like research, so I am thinking about continuing on with Combat PTSD and the cognitive problems this disorder presents. Any ideas would be appreciated.
