Whoooooo eeeeeee Didn't it Rain
It just was a curtain of water in our pasture and the one across the highway and lasted for hours, we have nice cool morning, and the area around is fresh and green and full ponds
the kid across the east fence has been nothing but tractor and bush hog and rake and just ahead of the clouds he had the baler on high go, his hay is good this year and he got it baled just in time, it will do fine in the field even if it was rained on, on the outside, the fellow up the road west got his done last week
we have had enough rain that the hay is good this year
the girls out in the pasture are busy chomping and tromping and getting chubby, they will calve after they go back to their own house.
despite all the rain we had feline and raccoon visitors, they eat like little pigs, even babies were here, in the wading pool playing and dolphin floating
the adults must have held umbrellas over the heads of the babies, toddlers are all snuggy little fur balls, poor moms and older siblings were all drippy, bedraggled little fur critters, didn't seem to hurt their appetites tho
thank goodness our political primary is done, the vote is in. for some there is great joy and for others it is cheerless and sobbing. thank goodness most campaigns were quiet, only one really became a mud fest and a la the recent race in Virginia an incumbent spent much time listing all the reasons not to vote for the opponent, assuring that the name none of us had much knowledge of before now knew it well. and a la Virginia the runner garnered many more votes than the incumbent, interesting that
