hypomania and insomnia 6/11/2005 5:27:12 AM
hypomania is mild form of bipolarity. Google on it if you're unfamiliar with it. I have a full-charge day ahead, but I' ve only been able to sleep for about 4 hours so far tonight. Usually I wake up around 2 or 3 and have trougle getting back to sleep. This has happened for two nights in a row. I took 30mg of Restoril, which has totally f***ed up my motor coordination, but I can't overcome my body tension. So it's difficult to sleep. I've been up for 3 hours now. I just stuffed my face with several doughnuts and half a pint of half and half in hopes that the fat and sugar will knock me out, since the Restoril 30 mg. doesn't seem to be doing the job.
Florme the hardest part of hypomania is the feeling that I can't control my time. Especially my sleep patterns. And I have twitchy, nearly spastic, lower extremities. Hard to relax. Mind raciong.
I just want to sleep like normal people right now, not type into this blog.
