Last Night, according to the Islamic traditions, was the special Night of Power which the Quran, in a famous verse, calls "better than a thousand months". It is on this night that the angels and "Spirit" descend to the lower levels of the heavens to shed upon humanity a sense of awakening to the higher spirit that exists within the world. Today is the 27th day of Ramadhan. May God's blessings and peace shine upon this troubled world and touch the hearts of everyone.
