Transcendental Sonnet #1192: Um Mitternacht for Silke A thousand nights a thousand days Um Mitternacht always always Always my love my shining one Since first this magic was begun If we are dreaming darling may We never see the light of day But may our sweet moon always shine For us my love and you be mine The thousand are not yet complete have still to be Fulfilled as here alone I wait for you tonight I long for you to reach through time and space to me Come back my love! This breaks my heart and the tears stream down my cheeks, Steven, as I feel you like a fish removed from the water, gasping for the very life that you have known for so long. I pray that you will find a way to move forward with life while holding tight to the bond that you and Silke share. Love is precious and it is eternal. God bless you both.
