a punk poet presents himself... "The Lucky Little Bastard has the hunger / To be successful"

Poem Artwork

Transcendental Sonnet #1255:

Cocked and Primed Rocked and Rhymed Locked and Timed

a punk poet presents himself...

Cocked and primed

Afraid to pull the trigger

Rocked and rhymed

His name is getting bigger

Locked and timed

In earthly span not getting any younger

Cocked and rocked and locked

Primed and rhymed and timed

The Lucky Little Bastard has the hunger

To be successful

While sundry stressful

Enemies spit their disease at him these

Who trot along yip-yapping at his heels

Is this how getting good at something feels?

They sure ain't worth wasting emotional energy on.

Someone always is at the ready to sledge...

Just go ones own way.

Pay no attention to the enemies, just write. You are doing well.
