*Transcendental Sonnet #1298:* *One Flame* *So much to transcend so much to overcome* *So far from heaven and so far from home* *But have we not made it this far already?* *We can get there if we just hold steady* *And where is there and who are we and why?* *The answer my love is written in the sky* *All I know to do is look up at the moon* *So many questions with answers so few* *But as the moon waxes so shall we as soon* *Even as it has waned for me and you* *Carried in and out and borne upon the tide* *Up and down on the insane carousel ride* *We turn and return we wax and wane and learn* *To live and love as one flame even as we burn* *+Steven Curtis Lance* *Copyright MMV Silke LLC*
