"You are elected / By making afraid / We are rejected / But all are unmade / The joke is on us"

Poem Artwork

Taste of Death

You think you can see

But you have gone blind

You think it is me

Gone out of my mind

But it is just you

Know not what you do

You think you can feel

You make such a fuss

But you are not real

You are elected

By making afraid

We are rejected

But all are unmade

The joke is on us

With my last free breath I say

May you taste of death today

LOVE the picture, and I love the poem! Dark and Deep...the great thing about this poem is that it makes me think of a LOT of people that your words can apply to!

Thanks for writing and entertaining so many with your talent!

Love,
Dara
