No Greater Love The throbbing ache of a deep-disturbed dream A riddle as demonic as divine Worries the bones of hope worn white before While with futile fists clenched a stifled scream And a sickened heart for the thousands more Who must dance before the dance of death ends I watch them walk into the wall of war Warriors who lay down their lives for their friends And they are our kids and some friends of mine +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMVII
