The Secret

for the Laughing Daffodil

Is it ever too late
To enter a gate
Of a garden which encloses
A fountain which discloses
Whatever secret it should choose to show?

All it would show is what you already know
You could only see it as you see fit

What I propose instead is that you be "it":
Gate and garden fountain and secret too

You have everything you need to succeed
With all of the universe inside of you

It is never too late
To become a gate
Of a garden which encloses
A fountain which discloses
You are the secret should you choose to know
