Your middle name is Lucky but it also could be mine
Since I feel lucky too to have you holding up your sign
Here next to me as I hold up the one I made before
I met you and thought I knew love (until you taught me more)
Here as a tree in a forest of my own creation
Anchored by the taproot which becomes my liberation
You are me as I am you
Past and future meeting now
Which leaves nothing we can do
But be (together) somehow
Surprised noone reviewed this. Saw it early this morning, went away on a ride to get granddaughter from Church camp in the mountain and here it is not reviewed. I did not know what to say, but now the freedom to be together somehow is up to you and our and myself and others. I did see a little blue bird feeding her babies on the porch nest up there and the little ones kept peeking out to see and take a look but when kids stomped by they retreated into the nest. I believe they are soon going to learn to fly, but Katlyn my granddaughter said the nest was there all week, so maybe they are not ready to take the challenge of the world upon them yet. This challenges me to revive the past and thing of the future. Good words here, hopefully others will soon give their opinions too.
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
A powerful write - well done.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
