The dovegrey cloudbank slowly smoothly slides
Across the sky as it rides on the rain
Revealing the secrets the sunshine hides
The ones we forget till it rains again
Of how it feels and how it smells and how
It is: what we forgot about till now
So let the rain come down and wash away
All but the best of it (save that but not
The rest of it) only leaving today
Remember the rain the way we forgot
Till now: how it is and how it smells and
How a raindrop feels sliding down your hand
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
