A Transcendental Intimacy I see across the sea in my reflection Someone is looking back at me there In a moment of conjoined introspection Joining here and there at everywhere Coming and going in either direction Connected as by universal telephone In a transcendental intimacy Here and there at everywhere and I am alone But someone is reading my poetry Across the lonely universe tonight We see Not before nor after not ahead nor behind Someone and I are neither here nor there Though much is wrong yet so much else is right That we Across the sea tonight in our reflection find Someone is here looking back at us there Where someone is reading my poetry Across the lonely universe tonight In a transcendental intimacy Where here and there are joined at everywhere +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMX
