Happy in the Here and Now It took me all this time and is taking The rest of whatever remains To me for all this breaking and making These universal labor pains Whatever it is I am going through Which is and yet hardly explains The mindful process of my getting to My destination which is now I am not really going anywhere But everywhere as I learn how The hard way of course as I always do To get to here from here and there To care about nothing and everything To escape invisible bars To remember how to smile even sing And to find myself in the stars I am going to get through this somehow And someday I want to be free I want to be happy in the here and now And I want to be friends with me +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMX
