Fire in the sky out the corner of my eye
Bade me know sunset made me get up and go

Passed along promise spoke opportunity
So got up and went for a smoke break well spent
Cats crowding round and two dogs lying nearby

The sun was red flames where I read the names of
Everyone everywhere as the heirs of love
Everything as ours all for all of us there
In the hands and hearts and minds of you and me
Where our inheritance finds our legacy
What binds us but parts us when we go to war

Having all as all we have by love to share
Learning to share it what it was given for
Out the corner of my eye seeing no more
Nor less than such confession as I confess
Written on the sunset burning in the sky
