for Daffodil
Because how I was now seems to me not to be at all
Entering winter here after the fall
Survivor of it all I strive as I arrive today
To remember in December who I am come what may
At this late hour devouring now or never yet to see
What forever never let me whatever that might be
By heart or sheer foolhardiness my tardiness to flout
Engage my curiosity assuage my raging doubt
And try to figure out about how do I figure in
Entering winter from the outside in
So not resisting though insisting having come this far
To not go down without a fight I see how right they are
Who say live for today nor to delay or to begin
Evolving solving from the inside out
The riddle in the middle to make sense of it somehow
By love is how I enter winter now
Another dawn another eschaton has come and gone
And then another one so I go on
