24 January 1934 - 23 November 1998

She remembered anniversaries
Birthdays and special dates of fate like these
She never forgot no matter what

And I will not forget her now
My mother loved and lost somehow
Remembering she never forgot
Me no matter whatever might
Have been tonight my heart is with her
Who gave her life for me as it were

Though I regret I never forget
Nor did she though the motherless night
Hid her away to stay just out of sight

My mother found again from within
Is with me always to make it all right

Like my mother, she was a beauty and never forgot. Although it's difficult for her now, my mother still knows every birthday for hundreds of people.
