I wonder what will moles
Do down there in their holes
Now that things are getting
More and more like spring?

I have been wondering

Were they asleep then all
That time before when fall
Turned to enter winter
Did they enter too?

I wonder as I do

Will they wake now to be
Moles how I used to see
Holes my souvenirs of
Their digging for love?

I dig moles and they
Dig anyway
