When a rooster crows
Another one knows
Crowding on the scene
Just what must be done
That he is the one
To cock a do it
Too to doodle do
It to get to it
Get it done one who
Just knows how it goes
How he must crow too
Hearing to be heard
Louder and prouder
Than the other and
Yet to get through it
Prouder if louder
To see and be seen
By who understand
Like you do what I
Mean speaking though by
Not speaking a word
But volumes between
How do you do and
Cockadoodle do
I understand and
I think you do too
How a barnyard row
Sounds like life now to
Me ultimately
Though spoken by squawk
A rooster or two
In token of love
Insisting to be
Talking the talk of
The cock of the walk
