Bowser is arf-arfully happy now because
He has learned how to hold his bone between his paws
And as he gnaws it tastes like victory to be
Like Marisol who after all has always known
And shown him how though he resisted being shown
She was just his sister so he resisted her
Having had to come to this conclusion alone
Like males of other species like a human man
Because he was stubborn as I was as it were
Not all donkeys have long ears and short donkey fur
Because I was as he was and I may be yet
My Marisol gave up on me to my regret
Somehow he sees that she was right and how he can
Look clever and never lose his grip on his bone
Marisol laughs to see he got it finally
Says he had to see himself but glad he can see
I told her I had been like him she said "I bet
But all that really matters is the it you get"
"And sooner or later when you get it then you
Are known as you were shown and you remember who
And though in December you know then what to do"
These dogs remind of one behind ahead of me
When I was shown how once to do what I do now
But then I had to find out for myself somehow
So do what she says brother to remember this
When you get it then and it feels like a kiss
