I saw you cross the sky
Like I will when I
Go up there on my own
And you were alone
Like me but you were free

I was with you then
Although you could not see

When I cross then I
Will see you once again
Impossibly far
The great within the small
Momentarily
Arc-sparking like a star

I am with you when
All time is now somehow

There where we have been
Improbably to be
Twin stars you and me
Who even though we fall
Are stars after all

Like General MacArthur said, "Stars never fall, for they are too big to fall, so through it all, they just fade away." Or was that old soldier's?…

Great poem, and it just goes to show that the saying was true:

It is said that for each of us there is one star in the sky that is representing, and when two people meet, the two stars would come close to one another.
