Now leaves are turning before they fall
After the laughter after all
This is how stars are learning they do too
Call it falling but call me who
Rose up that way when I chose to when
Turning but not turning away
Turning before when after now then
Turning not as if to say goodbye
Turning that way night turns to day
This madman you see is me in the sky
Before you now after the fall of it all
Wondering but understanding why
This man glad I rose because I chose to
Surprised to realize I was supposed to
Let go to get where I had to be
Tuned in turned on dropped out gone within
Finding the only way out is in
Here I am now to find out about love
Mindful how whatever I dream of
Is what becomes me ultimately
Though gone I dreamed of freedom so I went free
Having let go of it all I fall
In love to rise again after all
