I
I have a long nose
And also it grows
Off to one side a bit
I am used to it
The nose I have got
Not the nose I have not
For many a year
Between love and fear
My nose has been right there
I follow it where
It goes I suppose
I think but my nose knows
II
Those who are afraid
Would like me to be too
Be like they have made
So many but I do
Not like what I see
Of that which is not love
Being afraid of
Out there in where between
Their fear can be seen
They should know what I mean
But would like to save
My soul from being brave
But as doubt has shown
I would like to be free
Though I understand
The fear in their demand
Not to be alone
Here (a fear I have known)
Would they could let go
To listen now and then
Through the silence when
It wonders then again
Would they could find out
And understand to know
Curiosity
Is what "free" is about
III
Out and about and
About to find out
Through doubt to understand
What though not to know
To wonder about
As I go so to grow
I get by hereby
Now under the sky
I get how round I go
Though I get lost I
Go then to be found
When I come back around
