Once we had the hadrosaur
Not anymore

I am glad we had
The hadrosaur but sad
The hadrosaur was
But is not now because
How I had to miss
The hadrosaur like this

Predating me
Fated then now not to see

But to let what is be
To do what it does
Remembering what was
Lest we be bereft
Let us love what is left
Let us let us be

Too late too bad
For the hadrosaur we had
