The Phoenix From the Flame

Someday sunset at the end
I intend to transcend
When the time comes to let go
To set with the sun when
I get away with the day
Then to be surprising

Until sunrise still to know
I too will rise again
Gone on through dawn to rising
Gone on not gone away
Gone through dawn to be gone on
To go but not be gone

The phoenix from the flame
When you remember my name

Another reviewer mentions reincarnation, but I take something different from this poem. It has a broader meaning, perhaps sometnhing more that you intended. In any event, an interesting read, well articulated and thought-provoking. Thanks for posting. John
