You describe a narcissist and a bully perfectly. They believe they own the world, always greedy for more, not because they are insecure and grew up with difficult childhoods. They lack empathy and kindness. They are inherently evil.

Behind every bully you'll find an insecure person with very low self-esteem. They crave attention and find that they can get it by doing outrageous things to other people.

As Michael has suggested, we need to find bullies (and overly quiet and introverted non-bullies) very early in life and give them the required counseling and therapy so that they do not grow up to be dangerous menaces to society. During this century we will develop the tools to do so. The sooner we do it, the better. Banning bullying is a step in the right direction but it will not get the source of the problem.

Bullying has become an epidemic. I was bullied b ad in school. I survived, but it definitely left scars. My own kids were bullied in school, and now my g=kids are being bullied in school. It was so bad for my one g=daughter, her mom took out of school, and put her in home schooling. The sad fact is, kids are mean, an d with social media in their hands, the bullying is much worse, and done anomalously, without fear of consequences. And it doesn't help that we have a president who is nothing more than the bully in chief.
