We Got Us for Franziska We both have a lot of guts Although completely nuts Also but as each other We get one another We mean well between us and Can tell we understand Anyway surviving what In a way we may not Having kept us company When us is what we got Not that we got a lot but We got us you and me In December now at last Remembering the past Imagining the future One thing I know for sure I have not forgotten you I know you remember Too what we have gotten through To reach this December What we each remember of Each other only love Not that we got a lot now But we got us somehow Steven Curtis Lance

This poem made my heart swell, Steven! I am keeping this because the words mean a lot. Perhaps different realities but really the same. 'Enjoyed immensely!
